Very Nervous

I just got a call from the Y and I have an interview tommorrow and I'm really really really nervous because they want me to do water skills and I'm not all sure what they are looking for. Please pray for me. It would help big time. I love you all and hope you are all doing well.

Yeasturday I walked into my SO class looked around at the people and walked back out because I thought I was in the wrong class room. When I found out it was the right one I walked back in feeling like a big dork. Which started a conversation with a girl who was having trouble with her classes as well. Than I went on to find out that she had been to Lake Ann and that her church was one of the first churches to start going their. So we talked about our churches and she said that she was glad that there was more people like her. Which made me smile. Us Aliens need to stick together. :^) And I talked to the other girl who worked at a church camp also. It was great. Than in my PY class I felt out of place big time for the first time. The teacher had us write down why we were here and 3 mistakes that we made in h.s. that could of made us end up here. Well, the topic of skipping came up and than the teacher went on to ask well what were you doing when you were skipping like we needed to know but people were honest and drinking, drugs and sex all came up. I felt uncomfrotable and out of place but at the same time my heart hurt deeply for the people in my class and at this school. It is so real to me how lost the world is and man is it sad. Than today I went to hear Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu speak. I went at first only because it was e.c. for a class and I didn't have anything least to do. But I came out with so much info. The main thing that he spoke on was how to get students to learn better. But one of the really really cool things were that scripture was spoken on and we prayed before and after he spoke. Man God is good. Here I thought there wouldn't be surrounded by christ love all that much and what you have to do is just put it out there and not be afraid. I'm looking forward to a fun filled night tonight with Becky's Party and all. My sister and Faith have been working so hard to make this special for her. I hope everyone has a blast. Today is going GREAT!!! My PY 201 teacher was 10 min. late to class. It was funny because we were all sitting outside of class because the door was locked. I have a girl in that class who is friends with Kelsey and she always came to our soccer games and she's really nice. The teacher let us out early so now I have a very very very long break until English. I went to the book store to see if my PY 101 book was in and it wasn't so I'm not sure what to do there because the teacher wanted us to read a chapter by thursday but I'm not to worried. I ran into a huge group of KC people it was a reunion. As I was walking to the libary I spoted a table set up for the christian fellowship group. I stopped and talk to some very nice people and it was just so encouraging to talk to them. To know that you do have a support group. They told me about the bible studies that they have and the other activities that they have lined up. It was such a blessing to talk to them. And now I'm just chillin out in the libary waiting to go to english. Why didn't I bring my book to read? What am I saying there are million of books around me. First Day of College

Today was my first day of college and it went very well. I just love learning again. I rode the same bus as Derek P. but I don't think he saw me get on and I didn't know he was on until he got off lol. And in my principles of Sociolgy class I found out that one of my second cousins is in there with me. And the part about everyone saying it's like high school in a way it is because you run into people from high school. Like I ran into Mitch, Andrew M. and Jenn Smith. My PY 101 teacher is crazy she said so her self. But what I like about her is that she puts her foot down and doesn't let people get away with things. I have homework in her class but we haven't even gotten our books yet how funny is that. And Sara I wish you knew who Kyle A. was from camp so I could get his e-mail and tell him that I found his twin and he's in my PY 101 class. He's a little more filled out than Kyle and has much less hair. On the bus ride back to my lot I sat next to a girl who made a bag completely out of duck tape and this wasn't like some like purse it was a huge like messager bag. And getting home was fun and easy. Jennie J. you would be proud of me. :^) And in my sociology class we all got to share what we did over the summer and I got to share about camp and the mission trip. So that was sweet. Still no job but I ran into Katie at Target and she said they are hiring so I think I'll check that out. Well, I would love to keep on writing but I have h/w yessssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it.
