Summer Camp is over, But Lake Ann is still Alive and Kick'in

Even with Camp being done for about a week know I feel I have been more busy this last week and a half with helping out guest groups and such. There was a total of 377 campers saved this summer!!! If I didn't have school in the fall I would love to stay and do the intership here but I know it's not my time yet maybe in the future. I'm looking so forward to seeing everyone's smiling face when I get home and be able to sit down and talk with everyone. I'm here until the 27th and if you think of it pray that there would be safty at the waterfront. I will be the only lifeguard here for the remained of the time and they are bring in some people from the Red Cross. It will be nice to have the extra help. I miss everyone and look forward to seeing you. Take Care, I love you and God Bless.

Last Week of Summer Camp and more to come...

This is the last week of summer camp. God has been doing some pretty amazing things here. 60 campers were saved last week. Yahoo!!!! And last week at the begin of the week before the week even started we had only 100 and so campers signed up and than they gave a huge discount and and there ended up being 400 or more. It was cool to see all the campers that God brought to camp. I was asked to counsel one last time for the summer but sadly/ Happily if that makes sense. I turned it down. Cherie, Jennifer and Ashley came up to visit me. It was so great to see them. I felt petty back getting us lost all over. But it was great to see them. A couple of representatives from Romania are here at camp and I would really like the chance to talk to them. About Romania. The team left yesterday to go to Romania and will be there for 2 weeks. There are Two weeks of camp this year instead of one. Which is so exciting. It's also awesome to see the campers giving at chapel. Well, Camp Chenaniah is no longer coming. This was another camp that would come and use our waterfront from 10:30-11:30 in the morning so now with them not coming any more we have our mornings off again. Which is nice we are able to help in other areas and such. This is the last week of camp like I said above but I will most likely be up here until the end of August. Helping with other groups.
I hope all is well back at home with everyone I'm thinking of you and Praying for you. Love you all.

Lake Ann Is Pretty Amazing!!!!

Camp is going very well. I am now working in the camp stores. Week one I was in the Nurses Station, Week two I had the opportunity to be a counselor of Nine amazing wonderful girls. It was very sad to see them leave. I'm now in flamingo and loving every minute of it. Never a dull moment. This weekend plans are to go to a wedding and fireworks. I'm very excited. Thank you to all of you who have been patient with me and updating this thing. I hope all is well in the homestead. I will try to update it more often. May you find yourselves in God's presents at every moment of the day today. Take Care and God Bless.

On your mark, get set, go!!!!!! Camp is in full fling

Camp has started and it is going to be an Amazing year I can already tell just from four days. The staff has really bonded well. I'm still not sure what store I will be working in because the Red canoe "or the store" is still under construction. So we are not able to start moving things yet. I'm really super excited to see all that God will do in this place and in the lives of the Campers. We had a really good speaker the other day he was so real and just told us how he did things so people would like him. He wouldn't do things just out of the goodness of his heart. His message was just so impactful. It's really hard for me to put into words what has happened to me in the past couple of days. Words just can't describe how I feel. Christina I meant your friend that you were telling me about we actually hide behide a tree together playing camouflage. It was funny. She's a really sweet girl and she was asking me all about who you were dating because she heard from someone that you were dating someone and she Knew that is wasn't Jose (I don't know how to spell his name) But yeah she's a sweet heart. So I will try to update as much a possible. I hope you are all well.

Love,

Chaille

I wonder how much the tooth fairy gives for wisdom teeth?!?

Tomorrow is the big day. I will lose four of my teeth. After hearing everyone's horror stories I'm so ready. Not but I know it will not be as bad as some people have had it. Gina told me to take pictures and I know Cherie will seen I did when she had her wisdom teeth pulled. I wonder how big my face will get and if I will be black and blue or not we will just have to wait and see. I'm really looking forward to going to camp for the summer. It's in like two or three weeks not far away. I will try to update this blog as much as possible. I hope all is well in your life take care and remember God is GOOD!!!

My little cousin and his update.

Hello my friends I recieved this email from my aunt the other day it on how my little cousin's progress is coming along. Christina I know you will be able to relate with him. Dear Family & Friend's: I told you in my last email that I would keep you all posted as to what Gil & I find out regarding Micah's testing. And in all honesty, Yesterday was a very draining day emotionally & physically. Our appt. was 1:45, and we went and anxiety was running high. On top of that we had both little one's with us (w/o their naps). UGH!!! Doctor finally entered exam room at 3:00. By then we were all pretty irritable and frustrated. Micah's EEG showed abnormal discharges on the left side of his brain. At this time the Dr. felt he was having partial seizures and felt that Gil & I needed to make a few decisions on medication or further testing. We left the office with information on 5 medications, also told to consider an Ambulatory EEG. The original EEG that was done on March 6th was only about a 30 min. EEG. The Ambulatory EEG is done for 24 hours, in which Micah would go in to have wires attached and head bandaged and then sent home with battery pack to record brain activity. Then go back the next day and have it removed. By doing the Ambulatory EEG it gives the Specialist more information to go on and to know whether they happen more daytime or sleeping, and how frequent they happen. We were originally told that it could take another 6- 8 weeks to get appt. for Ambulatory EEG. I called this morning and they told me May 24 & 25th. I then asked if they had anything sooner, and nurse said yeah "We have two cancellations for April. DUH! So of course, I advised I wanted one of those. His next EEG will be done on April 26 & 27, which will be the 24 hr. Ambulatory EEG. Once that is completed, Ped. Neurologist will be better able to advise on best choice of medication without having us guess from the 5 we were told about. As always We are so thankful for all your prayers and thoughts. Along with our faith, your kindness, support & love is what sees us through. Thank you.Gil, Donda and Family So if you would like to pray for them they would really apreciate it. Thanks so much guys.

Jesus loves the little children all the children of the world...

As you go about your day today try and remeber the Orphans all over the world. The little ones who have no one to hold them and just love them. It's a very sad thing to see what some of these children go throught. And to see them in person would make anyone's heart break in two. I was just reading an article and it was talking about the orphans over in Romania here's what one woman had to say.

British charity worker Wade, who took Dylan home with her when he was 18 months old, has spent 3 years helping him to catch up on what he missed as he lay for a year and a half with no human interaction.

But Wade, who has set up her own Romania-based foundation called Romanian Relief, believe the laws are ineffective. "Of course something needs to be done to help the children here, but at the moment all the Romanian government is doing is signing forms sending children back to their parents . . . It doesn't seem to matter that the parents might be alcoholics or have no means to look after their kids as long as the numbers are cut", she says.

Statistics from UNICEF released at the beginning of this year show that 4000 newborns are abandoned every year in maternity wards while 5000 are abandoned in paediatric hospitals.

Doctors, who had diagnosed Dylan as autistic, said he would never walk, but 3 years on he runs around like any other small boy.

So little by little something is being done for these children but there are still huge numbers of children all over the world needing someone to love them.

Take Care of his children to day by praying for them.

God Bless all of you.

Moody, a place to stay up until the next morning, fellowshipping with your sisters.

Well the windy city was amazing to say the least. There were many firsts. And I enjoyed every last bit of it. From beating the boys in disney sence it to going to Navy pier and to being able to attend class with some of the girls. I had an amazing time and it was so great to meet all the amazing girls at Moody and to be able to spend time with Sara, Christina and Jennie and the rest of the 7 north chicas. It was so refreashing and up lifting to be with fellow sisters in Christ who really want to know more about their heavenly father and chase after him. I love it. It makes me smile just thinking about it. This trip gave me a much needed break. Moody is an amazing school and God is definetly at work all over that place. I really can't think right now of what else to say but that I'm really glad I was able to go. Thanks Sara for having us and Thanks Christina for driving.

Last day in Jan wow it flew by

Dear fellow Bloggers,
Here is a brief summary of what has been going on in the life of Chaille Hathaway
I gave my two weeks notice at the Y. My last day will be this Thursday.
I will have more time on my hands for more important things like God, Family, Friends, school and my other job.
I have managed to get up at the crack of dawn to go lap swimming each day it becomes more and more of a struggle to want to stay under those warm covers but after swimming I feel AMAZING!!!!
The way I teach swim lessons is improving I've only manage to let one kid drowned this week. J/K but no I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. I felt so bad for all the kids that got stuck with the instructor who didn't know much but it's looking up.
Last night at in my aqua tots class one of the girl who would never jump to me finally did last night it was so great. Now with having more time on my hands I might be able to learn the correct words to some of the songs we sing like the hoocky poocky you would think I would know it but I always say hand instead of arm lol.
I've been reading the book "Just like Jesus" (Christina got for my for Christmas) and man some of the stuff that guy brings up hits ya hard at least it did me. In his book he wrote "So rather than spend time with God, listening for his voice, we'll let others spend time with him and then benefit from their experience. Let them tell us what God is saying. After all, isn't that why we pay preachers? Isn't that why we read Christian books? These folks are good at daily devotions. I'll just learn from them." IT'S NOT THE SAME.
There were other things I just can't find them right now.
I should get going and do some homework. I will try to keep up on this thing as much as I can.
I hope all is well.
Take Care and God Bless.
